Hiking & Snow Shoeing

There are beautiful hiking areas all over the north shore of Vancouver, for example Lynn Canyon Park in North Vancouver, or the many climbs that are available off the Sea to Sky highway. My favourite hike is the Sea to Summit Trail. There is the most breath taking viewpoint about halfway up (and not just because of the elevation!) that is really quite encouraging, especially on a hot day.
Since I moved to the interior, my mom and I have been enjoying some snow shoeing adventures! It’s been really fun to explore mountains and trails all over the interior of the province! I have decided that snow shoeing is basically hiking in the snow, but it’s been a fun activity to add to my outdoor repertoire!

Yoga & Gymnastics
Through the gymnastics community I have made life-long friendships. We grew-up training together as children, and then worked together as teenagers and young adults. A friend introduced me to yoga, and soon it became part of my routine. I started yoga for the physical aspect, but I stayed because of the mental peace it brought me. By maintaining my fitness, it allows me to try learning new activities (like paddle boarding!) with relative ease.
